We are pleased to announce the release of the International Resource Panel think piece titled “Intentionally Designing Sustainable Consumption and Production Policies and Practices to Reduce Inequalities.”
Prepared at the request of the 10-Year Framework of Programmes for the One Planet Network Forum 2024, this paper addresses how sustainable consumption and production systems can be designed to reduce inequalities and promote equity. It emphasizes the importance of integrating issues of equality, equity, and justice into sustainable consumption and production (SCP) policies and outlines actionable steps related to production, consumption, global trade, governance, technology adoption, and societal well-being.
